Assam Rifles Technical & Tradesman Selection Process Step By Step Selection Process Details .

1 . Physical Efficiency Test -: ( Male & Female )

Candidate Whose Application Form are Found to be in Order will Be Called for PST and PET.  In Physical Efficiency Test ( PET ) 05 KM Running in 24 Minutes For Male Candidate and 1.6 KM Running in 8:30 Minutes For Female Candidate . ,Biometric Identification , & Screening of testimonial / . PET Only Will  Be Qualifying For nature and  Will It Not Carry any Marks . If You Qualify PET Test Then You Will Selected For PST .

2.Phyical Standard Test : ( Male )

In Physical Standard test General/OBC/SC – Height : 170 CM and Chest 80-85 CM . For Scheduled Tribes/Adivasis of all States and Union Territories including Nagas and Mizos .Height – 162.5 CM and Chest 76 – 81 CM .Candidate Men belonging to the categories of Garhwalis, standard Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh regions. Height – 165 CM and Chest : 76 – 81 CM .

For Clerk Post General/OBC/SC – Height- 165 CM For Scheduled Tribes/Adivasis of all States and Union Territories including Nagas and Mizos .Height – 162.5 CM and Chest 76 – 81 CM .Candidate Men belonging to the categories of Garhwalis, standard Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh regions. Height – 162.5 CM 

Weight – Proportionate to height as per medical Standard . 

Physical Standard Test ( Female ) :-

In Physical Standard test General/OBC/SC – Height : 155 CM  .  For Scheduled Tribes/Adivasis of all States and Union Territories – 150 CM Candidate Men belonging to the categories of Garhwalis, standard Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the States of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, HimachalbPradesh, Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh regions. Height – 152.5 CM .

Weight – Proportionate to height as per medical Standard .

3. Assam rifles vacancy 2022 Selection Process TRADE TEST :-

The candidates who qualify in the PST, PET & Documentation will be put through the respective Trade Test. Each candidate will be allowed to appear for one trade test only. The Trade test will be qualifying in nature and it will not carry any marks. The requisite skill/qualification for each trade are as under :- 

4. Written Examination for 100 marks :-

(i) Successful candidate in the first phase examination i.e. PST, PET, Documentation and Trade Test will be called to appear in second phase of examination i.e. Written Examination which will be communicated to the candidates through E-Mail address/ SMS for call letters through online.

b .The Written Examination will be of 100 marks containing 100
questions (qualifying marks 35% for General Category/EWS & Ex Servicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC) will consist of only OMR based
 objective type multiple choice questions to be answered using a Blue or Black ball point pen only .

5. ) Detailed Medical Examination:-

(i) The candidates who qualify all the above stages i.e. PST, PET, Documentation, Trade Test and Written test will put through Detailed
Medical Examination (DME) which will be carried out by Medical Board of Officers to assess their physical & medical fitness. 

6. Assam rifles vacancy 2022 Selection Process Final Selection – ( Merit List )

1.  Post wise and category wise final merit list will be drawn separately in respect of each State/UT on the basis of marks secured by the
candidates in the Written Examination.(ii) SC/ST/OBC candidates who are qualified on their own merit, without relaxed standards along with candidates belonging to UR candidates, will not be adjusted against the reserved vacancies. Such candidates will be accommodated against the Un-Reserved (UR) vacancies as per their position in the overall merit list. The reserved vacancies will be filled up separately from amongst eligible SC, ST and OBC candidates. (iii) No waiting list will be kept/maintained in anticipation of vacancies.
